A New Collection For Summer

There has been much bouncing off the walls in excitement here at the Clare Nicolson studio this week. Why? It's finally here! The new collection! It's here!

About a month ago I had the sad news that the digital print people I've been using for the last 7 years were closing down. This all happened just as I was placing a new order for my new collection! Disaster! After lots of research I've found a brand new (still UK based of course) fabric printer who I'm very happy with.

So, after that little hiccup, I'm pleased to finally launch the new collection! The new cushions are available now online

Selina Lake: Homespun Style Book Launch

On Thursday, I'll be dragging the largest suitcase I own to the bus station to get the Megabus down to London. Why am I putting myself through 10 hours of smelly bus toilets, boredom and numb bum syndrome? It's time for the launch of Selina Lake's new book Homespun Style!

I'll be selling at the launch event along with lots of other great makers like Abigail*Ryan, Ted & Agnes, Folly & Glee, Papermash, Abigail Brown, Catherine Hammerton, Emma Lamb, Mr.PS, Charlotte Love, Ray Stitch, Tatie Lou, Laura's Attic, Mel Made This, Kissher, Heart Zeena, Nicky Grace, Rosablue, All the fun of the Fair. Home London 2012

So this is a bit overdue, but last month I was selling at the Home show down in London. It was my first time exhibiting in a few years so I wanted to come back with a bang! I launched the new cushion collection and the Lotta bird cushions which had their first outing at a trade show.

My favourite part of doing the shows is setting up my stand. It's like decorating your house, but in miniature! 

It's a Holiday Hullabaloo!

On Saturday 10th December I'll be donning my Made In The Shade cap (it's never been off, if truth be told) and selling at our Holiday Hullabaloo!
